High potential and gifted education
Some students learn faster and more easily than others. These students may shine in creativity, thinking, leadership or sport.
At our school, we recognise and nurture these strengths early. We support advanced learners with great lessons and activities to help them grow and thrive.
Year 7 High Potential and Gifted class
The Year 7 HPG class is formed based on a valid, external test, which students sit in Year 6. The HPG test is offered to confirmed local enrolments only.
Test Date: Friday, 25th September, 2026 at Carlingford High School.
Registering for the test will be distributed via email to confirmed locally enrolled students by Friday August the 28th.
The cut-off day for enrolment for the HPG test will be: Wednesday September the 16th, 2026, 3:00pm. No enrolments for the HPG test is possible after this date.
